Negova Castle

Negova Castle stands in the village of Negova in the Slovenske gorice hills of northeastern Slovenia, an area of gentle slopes, vineyards and small villages. Lenart, a town in the same hill country, is the nearest base for many visitors, but the castle itself lies in the Gornja Radgona area, close to the Austrian border. It is among the better-preserved castles of this part of Štajerska, and it is one of the few that kept something of its original medieval form.
