Stara Bela climbing site

Bohinjska Bela is a village in the valley of the Sava Bohinjka, on the road between Bled and Bohinj, in the Julian Alps of northwestern Slovenia. The valley is cut through limestone, and the cliffs and outcrops that line it make the area a good one for rock climbing, with crags of different sizes and characters scattered between the village and the lake. Limestone is the classic rock of the Slovene Alps. The Sava Bohinjka provides a place to cool off in summer, and the lakes of Bled and Bohinj are a short drive away in either direction.
