Jamnica Bike Park, located near Prevalje in the Koroška region, is a family-owned mountain biking attraction situated approximately two hours from Ljubljana and close to the Austrian border. Established by local families, the park offers a dynamic riding experience within a scenic landscape of mountains, forests, and fields near Peca Mountain. Unlike many static bike parks, Jamnica’s routes are redesigned annually during the winter, ensuring fresh challenges for visitors. Some sections of the trails incorporate existing zigzag roads from a local family farm, blending agricultural history with recreational use.

The park features nine trails ranging from AllMountain to Enduro levels, covering a total length of 24 kilometers with a maximum elevation gain of 525 meters. The terrain is accessible year-round from April to November, with the park operating on a 24-hour basis during this period. Admission is set at 5 Euros per person per day, providing affordable access to the facilities. For those without their own equipment, bike rental is available, with daily costs ranging between 40 and 70 Euros.

This lesser-known destination serves as an exciting option for tourists exploring northern Slovenia, offering a more intimate experience compared to larger, commercialized parks. The park promotes environmental sustainability while catering to riders of various skill levels. Visitors can enjoy the natural surroundings and the unique, ever-changing trail layout. The location also provides proximity to other regional attractions, such as the Mezica mine and the Solcava area, allowing for a broader exploration of the Koroška region’s natural and cultural heritage.
