Robba Fountain

Located in the heart of Ljubljana, the Robba Fountain stands as a striking Baroque masterpiece and a central landmark of the city. Crafted by the Venetian sculptor Giovanni Battista Robba in the mid-18th century, the fountain originally stood in front of the Town Hall before being moved to its current location. It features a central figure of Neptune, the Roman god of the sea, surrounded by four bronze statues representing the rivers of Carniola: the Sava, Drava, Krka, and Ljubljanica.
