Great Soca Gorge

The Great Soča Gorge near Bovec is one of Slovenia’s most breathtaking natural wonders, drawing visitors with its dramatic scenery and crystal-clear, emerald-green waters. Carved by the Soča River as it winds through the Julian Alps, the gorge stretches for about 750 meters, with sheer limestone walls rising up to 15 meters above the river’s surface.
