Fazanerija is a park and sports area on the edge of Murska Sobota, the main town of Prekmurje in northeastern Slovenia. The name comes from the word for a pheasantry, since the estate was once a place where pheasants were kept and bred, a reminder of the days when the surrounding lands belonged to noble families who used them for hunting.
