Katzenstein Mansion

Katzenstein Mansion, located in Begunje na Gorenjskem near Radovljica, is a site where history, architecture, and remembrance come together in a tranquil park setting. This elegant mansion, surrounded by landscaped grounds, is not only a cultural monument but also a place of deep historical significance for Slovenia.

Many were later sent to concentration camps, and nearly 900 lost their lives here. The site’s liberation by the Partizan army on May 4, 1945, is commemorated annually.
